10th FCCJ Yakatabune Cruise, 30 August

FCCJ Yakatabune Summer Cruise was held this year for the 10th time. Like last year, our member companies Finnair and Finntour sponsored the cruise and made it affordable for all participants. We enjoyed first a cruise down the Sumida River all the way Odaiba while enjoying great food, drinks and of course good company.

At Odaiba there was a chance to go up to the deck to see the night scenery of Odaiba, Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo across the bay. While continuing the cruise freshly fried tempura was served, and we also had a lottery with great prizes from our sponsors Finnair (with prizes also from Finnair’s codeshare partners Japan Airlines and British Airways) and Finntour. At Asakusa there was again a chance to go to the upper deck to see the sights, Tokyo Sky Tree was as popular photo target as ever.

今年はFCCJ屋形船クルーズで十週目を向かいました。前年同様、FCCJのメンバー企業のフィンエアーとフィンツアーはスポンサーとして貢献してくれました。美味しい会席を楽しみながら活発な会話や新しいメンバーとの出会いが進みました。浅草橋を出発してからまず墨田川を通りお台場に向かいました。

お台場で船のデッキ上でお台場・レインボーブリッジ・東京全体の夜景が楽しむ機会がありました。お台場から浅草橋に向かいながら恒例の宝くじを行いました。クルーズのスポンサーになったフィンエアー（そしてフィンエアーのパートナーの日本航空とブリティッシュエアウェイズ）、フィンツアーの提供で素晴らしいプライズが多くの参加者に当たりました。浅草に着いたところで、改めて船のデッキ上で夜景を見るところでスカイ・ツリーは相変わらず大変人気でした。
